Christy Brown (5 June 1932 – 7 September 1981) suffered from cerebral palsy, physically handicapped, was born in a working-class Irish family.

He could only lay on the floor under the staircase.

His family moved him around by a small cart.

His family, besides his mother, thought he was an idiot.

He’s clever. He saved his mother’s life by banging on the door.

He struggled with everyday life.
