We are delighted with the outcome. SAFER INTERNET DAY – TUESDAY 7th FEBRUARY During our Safer Internet Day on Tuesday it came to light that some children are going online and playing computer games/watching movies, which is inappropriate for their age group. We will be investigating this issue more in our Kidsafe sessions, but in the meantime we ask parents to be vigilant about the materials children have access to on the internet. BAPTISM INVITATION All Class 1 children are invited to celebrate the Mock Baptism of Molly Burrow (Mrs Sat’s Grand daughter) At Westnewton Church on Friday 17th February Baptism tea afterwards Class 1 children can come to school dressed in their posh clothes. WORLD BOOK DAY DATES FOR YOUR DIARY FOREST SCHOOL It’s Y1 and Y2 children’s turn to do Forest School this Friday, they will need warm outdoor clothing and wellies CROSS COUNTRY Well done to all the children who took part in the Cross Country race at Beacon Hill School on Monday, they all did very well despite the exceedingly cold weather conditions. WORLD BOOK DAY It’s World Book Day on Thursday 2nd March, children will be encouraged to come to school dressed as their favourite character from a book.
