Global Engine Tracking System (GETS) Track Order Feature April 27, 2012 Rose-Marie Howell

Track Order Feature Overview The purpose of the “Track Order” feature in GETS (Global Engine Tracking System), a web based orderboard application, is to provide current open orderboard status to ROACs (Regional Order Acceptance Centers), distributors and any other Cummins team members who require timely order information. GEX (Global Engine Exchange) is happy to announce several enhancements have been made to the "Track Order" feature in GETS. These enhancements have been made as a result of a Six Sigma project which included the voice of the customer. "Track Order" now offers expanded search criteria, full visibility to promise dates and updated "export to excel" functionality. 2/26/2018

Requesting Access to GETS (If you have access to GETS you may skip this slide) If you do not have access to GETS please go to the following web address: https://enginetracking.cummins.com. If you already have a Cummins online account skip to "Step 2“ and click on the “Please Click Here” blue, underlined text to submit your request. Upon submission of your request your supervisor will need to provide approval. Your supervisor will receive an automated email from “enginetracking@mail.cummins.com" and the subject line will state "GETS - Virtual Plant User Access Request for (your WWID)". Your supervisor will have to grant you access by entering the request code which will be found in the email. 2/26/2018

To Access Track Order Feature To access the “Track Order” feature you may either click on the “Track Orders” white text in the black ribbon or on the “Track Orders” blue, underlined text in the body of the page. 2/26/2018

New Search Criteria New search criteria have been added to provide a more comprehensive searching functionality. The search criteria are: customer name, customer code, spec number, shop order number, purchase order number, supplier name and status. 2/26/2018

Search Criteria Defined Customer Name - The “ship to” customer name as it appears in Web OM. Customer Code - The “ship to” customer code as it appears in Web OM. Spec Number - The specification number or the PN as it appears in Web OM. Shop Order Number - The shop order number as it appears in Web OM. To search via shop order number the number must be preceded by “SO”. Ex: SO12345 Purchase Order Number - The purchase order as it appears in Web OM. Supplier Name - The GEX BOF (Bought Out Finished) engine supplier or joint venture who will be producing the engine. Status - Current order status. For detailed descriptions of each status please see next slide. 2/26/2018

“Status” Search Options The “status” search criteria has been expanded to encompass more “statuses”. Each “status” is defined below. Open - Pending - This status means the promise date for this order line is pending. No confirmed promise date or firm promise date has been applied. Open - Ack and Confirmed -This status means the promise date has been acknowledged and is confirmed by the supplier and by GEX. Open Ack - Partially Shipped - This status means the order has been partially shipped with outstanding qualities yet to be fulfilled. Order Change – Pending - This status means a change has been made to the data and the change has not been acknowledged and is not confirmed by the supplier and/or GEX. An example of an order change would be the purchase order number has been changed in Web OM or the quantity has been changed in Web OM. Cancelled Order - This status means the order has been cancelled in Web OM. The "Track Order" feature in GETS will maintain 365 days worth of data for cancelled orders. Order Completed/Closed - This status means the order has been completed and is closed. The "Track Order" feature in GETS will maintain 365 days worth of data for completed/closed orders. 2/26/2018

All, Individual or Multiple Status Search Statuses can be accessed via an "all“ feature, individual lines or multiple lines. If you would like to display all statuses then select the “all” status feature. If you would like to display just one status then select the desire “individual” status feature. If you would like to display multiple status lines but not all status lines then select the desired statuses by using the "CTRL" key. 2/26/2018

Date Range Search Option Selecting a date range is not necessary to display the orderboard. It is an optional feature. If you would like to search within a specific date range, searches may be added based upon desired request date or promise date. Request Date - This is the request date as it appears in Web OM. Promise Date - Please refer to status to determine if promise date is pending, confirmed etc. 2/26/2018

“Show Now" and “Export To Excel“ Option Once desired search criteria are selected “Track Order” has two options for displaying the orderboard. Show Now - With this feature the orderboard will be displayed on the GETS website screen. Export To Excel - With this feature the orderboard will be exported in an Excel spreadsheet. 2/26/2018

Split Order Lines Another expanded feature in "Track Order" is full visibility to promise dates. An order line which has blank information in the promise date column, i.e. does not list a promise date in the promise date column is referred to as a "split order". "Split order " lines will be followed by order lines in a light beige shading (instead of grey shading). The beige lines will show the spilt quantities and the corresponding promise dates. Commonly the grey line is referred to as the “parent” line and the beige line/lines are referred to as the child/children lines. For example: The order line below is for a total of 92 units (grey line with no promise date in the promise date column). The 92 units are split into two new lines: a quantity of 80 and a quantity of 12 (beige lines). The promise date for the 80 (13-FEB-2012) and the promise date for the 12 (16-JAN-2012) both appear in the promise date column. 2/26/2018

Fields of Orderboard Data Displayed The following categories of data are displayed on the orderboard: Supplier Name Order Entry Date Customer Code Marketing Region Customer Name Spec Number Shop Order Number BC Number Request Date Promise Date Promise Date Reference ***more information on this field in the next slide. Promise Date Reference Field The different GEX suppliers will have different methods of applying the promise date based upon the business terms which were negotiated with the separate suppliers. For some suppliers the promise date will reflect the date that the engines will leave the factory (Ex-Works + the name of the factory) for other suppliers the promise date will reflect the date the engines will leave the port of exit (FOB + the name of the port of exit). For Example: GEX now has two different suppliers for the B3.3 engine model, Komatsu in Japan and Simpson in India. For Komatsu B3.3 orders the promise date is the date when the engines will leave Tokyo. The “promise date reference” field will reflect this by the wording “FOB (Tokyo)”. For Simpson B3.3 orders the promise date is the date when the engines will leave the Simpson factory. The “promise date reference” field will reflect this by the wording “Ex-Works (Simpson)”. 2/26/2018

Track Shipment Feature Under Construction You may notice that the numbers in the parent lines of the “total quantity” field are in blue, underlined text, if you click on any of these numbers you will enter the “Track Shipment” feature of GETS. Currently, the “Track Shipment” feature in GETS is not fully functional and may provide inaccurate data.
