Definitions – 10 Points QUESTION: ANSWER: What is the definition of a simple sentence? ANSWER: A simple sentence has a subject and a predicate.

Definitions– 20 Points QUESTION: ANSWER: What is the definition of a compound sentence? ANSWER: A compound sentence contains two simple sentences (two independent clauses) joined together by a coordinating conjunction.
