Paddy Tipping Nottinghamshire’s Police & Crime Commissioner Paddy Tipping was elected as Nottinghamshire’s first Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) in November 2012. Paddy was re-elected with an overwhelming majority in May 2016. P&CC role, in consultation with the Chief Constable, is to: set the police budget and design the Police and Crime Plan. Additionally, consult with local people to make sure their views are reflected in the way policing is provided. P&CC has the power to hire and fire the chief constable.  

Leslie Charlton, Detective Inspector, Nottinghamshire Police Digital Investigation & Intelligence Unit Les moved into digital policing in 2012. He currently works with several regional and national groups supporting the East Midlands to develop and improve its digital policing capability. The emergence of Cybercrime, as a threat to the public and an effective police response is something Les is very passionate about. February 2017, he organised the first Nottinghamshire Cybercrime Conference. The conference supported Nottinghamshire Small & Medium Enterprises in developing their knowledge and awareness.

Eva Hunt Senior Caseworker Catch22, Nottinghamshire Victim Care Eva has been with the Nottinghamshire Victim CARE since January 2017 – when the organisation secured the contract to support victims of crime in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Eva makes the most of local relationships to ensure that the needs of victims are taken into account and that all victims, regardless of their personal circumstances, get the best possible service in the community.

Victoria Willis Lead Practitioner Restorative Solutions, Nottinghamshire Victim Care Victoria joined Restorative Solutions on 6th March 2017. Despite being very new to the world of restorative justice, she brings significant experience of the Criminal Justice System, having worked as a Probation Service Officer for the last 14 years, gaining an extensive knowledge and skill set in working with criminals who have, in many circumstances, been victims of crime themselves. Through her experience, Victoria has seen the benefits of encouraging perpetrators address the harm they cause, resulting in preventing and reducing further incidents.

Rachel Barber Deputy Chief Constable Nottinghamshire Police Newly appointed as DCC, Rachel replaces DCC Simon Torr. Rachel joined Nottinghamshire Police after 29 years service with South Yorkshire Police working in several operational roles, at different ranks. The DCC is responsible for the following areas of business within the force: Communications Human Resources Information Management Corporate Development Finance

Dr David Rhodes Treasurer’s Report NottsWatch® DRAFT NOTTSWATCH ACCOUNTS YEAR ENDING 31 MARCH 2017 Notes Some 2017 Conference charges will fall in 2017-18 £8,657 remains of County Council Grant of £10,500 for creating new schemes; 28 to date. £2,076 remains from an earlier training grant. Operating costs were largely met from a PCC Grant of £5,000. University of Nottingham supports one of its accountants as a volunteer to prepare NottsWatch accounts for annual return to Charity Commission.
