Impact /Outcomes of Evaluation Role of QEC in improving the quality of education is now better understood. Awareness and sensitivity regarding Quality and the Quality Assurance measures is increasing amongst the stakeholders. Sense of accountability and responsibility (amongst university management, faculty members, and students) has begun to improve. Faculty development programs have been initiated for capacity building.

Best practices in Assessment Process. Adoption of Scorecard system based upon number of Publications by the department right from the inception of MS programs to date Conducting Regular Quality Council Meeting to determine the effectiveness of Assessment processes Accreditation by different accreditation councils like NBEAC,NCEAC,NEACTE and SAQS etc.

Program Assessments at MS / M.Phil Level Developed the systems for Program Assessments based on Alumni feedback. Recommendations to Enhance Research Activities at UMT Every Faculty Member must publish at least one Research paper in HEC recognized Journal as a Principal author during a year. Number of travel grants from HEC be increased Every Ph.D. Candidate must publish two research publications in HEC recognized Journal, failing to which the degree will not be awarded.

Every MS Scholar must publish at least one Research paper in HEC recognized Journal before submitting his / her thesis for defense without which no degree will be offered. Every School / Institute offering MS / Ph.D. must start publishing its own Journal in order to promote a healthy Research Culture.

In order to enhance Industry – academia relationship, number of university industrial linkages through (ORICs) be enhanced and such projects be designed in collaboration with each and every School / Institute level. Efforts be made to increase the number of Research Grant from HEC & from other sources like: USAID, JICA, Corporate sector & NGOs etc.

Future Plans Automation of Student’s and other Stakeholder’s feedbacks The best Faculty members of each department and school / institute will be awarded with Best Teacher’s award Continuous training to the Faculty members having academic performance below than 70 %
