Purpose Black men are a population that is struggling to persist at predominantly white institutions. This session will showcase a Black Men’s program that covers the development, structure, and assessment with the goal of bettering the Black male student experience at a large public institution.

Learning Objectives Gain a better understanding of the needs of the Black male student population Learn how to provide an atmosphere for Black males on campus to express their views and emotions Grasp a better understanding Black male identity development through student development theory
