What is Title I and How Does it Help Schools? Federal grant providing extra money for children struggling in school. Extra programs to improve regular education services School day services, summer school, family resources and family events. 2

How are Students Chosen to Receive Title I Services? Selection for services is according to student test data. Student scores and goals are provided to parents through a Notice of Services letter. Test data is monitored throughout the year to determine eligibility 3
