SPECIALTY CAKES & CUPCAKES STANDARD SPECIALTY FLAVORS RED VELVET Red Velvet is an old fashioned Southern cake. Technically, neither a vanilla nor a chocolate cake, it is a vanilla cake a touch of cocoa making for a light chocolate flavor. We offer a very special old style icing called ”whipped vanilla.” Customers may special order cream cheese icing or vanilla or chocolate buttercream for their cakes or cupcakes upon request. GERMAN CHOCOLATE Our cake is rich and made with a blend of semi-sweet and unsweetened chocolate. The filling is a sweetened shredded coconut caramel pecan filling. CARROT Freshly grated carrot, coconut, pineapple, raisins, walnuts finished with cream cheese icing coated with chopped, toasted walnuts all around the side of the cake. CARAMEL CAKE Our caramel cake is rich and buttery made with brown sugar baked in. This cake is finished with caramel meringue buttercream and caramel drizzle. COCONUT Three layers of coconut cake with a sweet coconut filling. Iced with meringue icing and topped with shredded coconut. Inscription not available. Coconut cupcakes are filled with sweet coconut filling. HUMMINGBIRD Bananas, pineapples and pecans make up this classic southern cake with sweet cream cheese icing and pecans sprinkled in between each layer and top.

CAKE DECORATION At Magnolia Bakery we decorate our cakes the simple, old-fashioned way. We use simple leaves, vines, dots and borders. Most of our layer cakes can be decorated, but not all. Cakes that cannot be decorated or have an inscription include: Coconut, German Chocolate, Icebox Cake, Flourless Chocolate Cake and Lemon Vanilla Bundt Cake. ICING COLORS AND BUTTERCREAMS VANILLA BUTTERCREAM – made with butter, sugar, vanilla extract and a little milk. Our classic vanilla and chocolate cakes and cupcakes are iced with vanilla buttercream in a variety of Magnolia’s pastel color palette. CHOCOLATE BUTTERCREAM - made with melted semi-sweet chocolate, butter and sugar. MOCHA BUTTERCREAM – made by adding Espresso powder to our chocolate buttercream. MERINGUE ICING - the secret to our incredible coconut cake is this icing. We whip egg whites and mix it with sugar. MERINGUE BUTTERCREAM – sometimes referred to as Swiss or Italian buttercream, our meringue buttercream is made with sugar, whipped eggs white and butter. It is very light and creamy and not as sweet as American style buttercream. CREAM CHEESE ICING – our cream cheese icing is made from whipped cream cheese, sugar and vanilla extract. WHIPPED VANILLA ICING – whipped vanilla icing is a southern style icing that is traditionally served on Red Velvet cake. ORDER & PAYMENT ORDER PAYMENT OPTIONS We require a minimum of 2 days notice to prepare regular orders. We require a minimum 5 days notice for customized orders. For last minute orders from our store, please contact 03-6540-5800.  Pickups from our store can be scheduled from 10am onwards. The minimum order for customized requests is 24 regular cupcakes and 48 mini cupcakes. We do not accept orders via fax, phone call, or emails, so please place orders at the store. Please note that we are unable to take credit card payments via email or over the phone. Credit card payments can only be made at the store or via PayPal. We also accept PayPal for online payments.. This is safe a secure measure to help prevent fraudulent purchases made with credit cards. We may use your information for marketing purposes, such as sending an e-blast to promote our products and services. An order is confirmed upon receipt of payment in full. CANCELLATION, EXCHANGE OR REFUND We do not accept returns/exchange on food items. If there is a problem with an order you received, please call 03-6540-5800 or email us at contact@magnoliabakery.co.jp Refunds may not be given for delivery delays caused by inclement weather, package refusal and/or for incomplete or incorrect delivery address. Orders must be cancelled 48 hours before order/delivery date or there will be a 100% charge.  ALLERGIES We do not bake in an allergen-free environment. While we do have select products that do not contain wheat or nuts, all of our products are baked in a an environment where wheat, dairy and nuts are present in high volumes. Due to the presence of these allergens at our baking facilities, we don’t not recommend consuming any of our desserts if you are allergic to wheat, nuts or dairy. GLUTEN-FREE: Our flourless chocolate cake, mini meringues and lace meringues are gluten-free. We do not have sugar-free products. Egg-free products are available. CUPCAKE & CAKE CARE Magnolia baked good are meant to be enjoyed fresh from the oven. If you plan to store them, we recommend placing them in an airtight container at room temperature.
