$ Staples, wanting to drive incremental online sales had a question: Case Study: Staples Staples, wanting to drive incremental online sales had a question: “How does mobile advertising effect sales?” $ Initially relying on their ad server for mobile campaign attribution, Staples could only look to part of the conversion story; mobile sales attributed to mobile ad engagement This particular conversion environment showed the retailer that mobile advertiser produced a negative ROAS

Case Study: Staples $ $ By working with Barometric, Staples was able to assess conversions in three additional environments: Mobile sales, attributed to mobile ad exposure Desktop sales, attributed to mobile engagement Desktop sales, attributed to mobile ad exposure Staples saw a 5818% increase in attributed conversions, equating to a 8301% increase in attributed revenue With a more comprehensive view of their mobile advertising efforts, Staples was able to discern that mobile ads have a positive impact on ROAS, making a compelling case for the role of mobile in cross-channel sales
