The more a parent is involved in a child’s activity, the more productive and excited the child will be in the activity. If you have suggestions about how to make Pack 99 better, the leadership is all ears. Feedback is the key to taking this from a GOOD pack to a GREAT pack.

Youth Protection Training Pack 99 takes Youth Protection VERY seriously. Any registered leader within the Boy Scouts of America MUST complete training EVERY 2 years. Pack 99 asks one parents/guardians from each family to take this training so that you know the standards that Pack 99 leaders abide as well as making sure you do not put yourselves in incorrect situations with a scout. The training is online and takes about 25 minutes to complete.

Youth Protection Training Parent/Guardians who MUST complete this training: At least one parent/guardian from each family. Those attending any overnight campout. Anyone who is requested by Pack 99 Leadership. See pack99gbc.com for training job aid and instructions on how to provide a softcopy of certificate to pack leadership.

Uniforms Uniforms are important. They provide a sense of belonging for the boys and look sharp. Full uniforms are worn to Pack Meetings, Show and Sells, and other public events (i.e Flag Placement, Christmas parade, etc.) Class A uniforms are the standard scout button down shirt, neckerchief, slide, hat, pants/shorts, socks, belt. Class B uniforms are any Cub Scout T-Shirt with any other clothes. Wear to events to show unity.
