Program of classroom, experiential and applied learning and coaching. Based on neuroscience and the use of photographs and the photographic process. Adaptable for numerous learning situations, including coaching, leadership and team development.

Facilitators Katie Cooney, M.A., is a globally experienced executive coach, teacher and facilitator who has always taken photos. In her long experience as an executive coach, she has worked with leaders as far away as Shanghai and as close as the Twin Cities. As a coach, she helps her clients gain a centered sense of self in their lives and careers. Katie has taught the Principles of Coaching and Team Development at the graduate level at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She has an M.A. in Human Development from Saint Mary’s University and a B.A. in English from the University of Minnesota. She has is published business writer who has recently returned to her roots in poetry. Bernie Saunders, M.A.T, is recognized nationally for his pioneering work in Integrative/Accelerated Learning, the development of learning communities, and the use of photography as a catalyst for learning. He is a professional photographer who has taken outstanding photos throughout his adult life. He is also a published writer whose 2005 award-winning book, The Grace of Ordinary Days: An Invitation to Celebrate Life’s Journey, was co-authored with his poet mother, Kay Saunders. Bernie has a Masters in Applied Theology from the Berkeley Graduate Theological Union. He has worked with clients in a wide range of corporate, government, and health care settings.
