You’ve heard our story... ...would you like to share yours

What badges would you include? ...it’s time to begin your story. What badges would you include? Short answer question.

How to start an onsite badge program Choose what challenges you will create Choose how and where you will post your challenges Choose how you will submit challenges Choose how you will award badges Choose who will assess challenges Give time to talk after each statement Set for each line to come in on a click

Create Some Badges Task 1: Brainstorm a list of topics to create a challenge for a badge Record your ideas In groups

Task 2: Choose a topic for your first challenge. Consider the following as you create your challenge: Will your challenge be an assessment or a how-to? Will you include links to how to’s within your challenge Will it have more than one part?

Task 3: Create an outline for your challenge Research for any helpful links or videos you want to include Create a rough draft of your challenge

Create “How-to” handouts for each tool Create a template that will be used for each handout. Write “how-to” step-by-step directions for each tool. Save as a PDF and post for easy access. Example: How to Template
