What is Dr. Carson Famous For? Dr. Benjamin Carson was well known for separating multiple conjoined twins as a neurosurgeon. He has made several breakthroughs in the medical field, and has had many documentaries and films created about him. Dr. Carson is currently the U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under the Trump Administration.
