Examples of Studies Education, literacy, curriculum development, special education, school administration Public health, advanced degrees in nursing and medicine Social science degrees with a specific focus on economic and community development, business degrees tailored for social business or microcredit Epidemiology, nutrition, global health, public health, health promotion, degrees in nursing and medicine Water science or engineering, water management, environmental science, epidemiology, parasitology Conflict prevention/resolution, peace and justice studies, international relations or law with a specialisation in peace and conflict #
Study Criteria Outside of Australia Language proficiency Except in countries on Rotary’s travel ban and disease/pandemic lists Language proficiency
Selection Criteria Scholars cannot be Rotarians or members of their families Preference for scholars who reside, work or study in District 9710
Expectations of scholars Knowledge of Rotary Participate in Rotary activities before, during, and after the scholarship Periodically report on their achievements and experiences overseas
Funding Minimum scholarship is US$30,000 The Foundation’s World Fund may provide up to a maximum of US$200,000
