A TRIP TO NEPTUNE We are going to make a trip to Neptune. We need more oxigen and potency of gravity. We like Neptune because is very... blue and we are like the blue.

A TRIP FROM THE EARTH TO NEPTUNE. Let's take some time to get to Neptune, since the distance between Neptune and the earth is 4.7 billion km or so while you will have information about this planet.

NUMBER OF MOONS Neptune has more than a docen of satellites. The largest is Triton, some more are Nereid, Naiad, Thalassa, Despina, Portage, Galatea and Larissa

TYPE. Neptune is a gas planet consistin of Helium (He), Hydrogen (H2) and Methane (CH4). Neptune is a gas giant.

POSITION Neptune is the eighth (8th) planet from the sun (the last).

SIZE. Neptune is the fourth largest planet in the Solar System. Is the largest after the Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus.

ORBIT The distance from the sun is 30.06 (au). Neptune takes to spin once on its imaginary axis is 16 hours and 7 minutes. Neptune takes to revolve around the sun 164.82 years.

WEIGHT. In Neptune we weight 1,18 times more than in the Earth. For example: a nine- years-boy who weights 35 kilogrames in the Earth, he weights 41,3 kilogrames.

TEMPERATURE. It is colder than the other planets. Its average surface temperature is -210 ºC. It is colder than the other planets.

DISCOVERY AND MYTHOLOGY. It was discovered by Urbain Le Verrier, Jonh couch Adams and Johann Galle. In discovered in the 23 of September of 1611. Its name comes from Roman mythology. They gave it that name because of its colour, blue like the sea, because Neptune was the sea god.
