Background Social networking has taken over most of our lives and completely transformed the way we communicate and keep in touch Long gone are the days we post letters to people we meet on holiday - now we become Facebook friends or follow each other on Twitter It used to be that people only used one social platform at a time - we went from MSN, to MySpace, to Facebook

Background Now, however, many people are using lots of different platforms - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Vine Just when we think "nobody could come up with something better or different", something new takes over

So… where do you start? Go back to basics- what are you trying to create? Think about a real problem you face when trying to keep in touch or meet new people who share the same interests What could be a great solution? Think about who else would want to use your social network What would you call it?
