What does the job/profession mean ? means the source of earning money, for some people it could be a hobby it´s an activity that requires a person's mental or physical effort employment is a contract between two parties, one being an employer and the other being an employee if a person is trained for a certain type of job, they may have a profession the series of jobs that people hold in their life is their career choosing one’s career is an important step in everybody’s life. there are two main kinds of jobs:   physical mental there are professions in which you need to have a special talent and determination

Traditional professions in Slovakia Tanner Tinker Carpener Potter

Tanner Tanner was a person who processed beef and sheep (sometimes also pig or goat) skins for clothes he was making girdle, shoes, whip and holdall of them he used special oils and tools for doing it

Tinker Tinker was a person who was making decorative items from metal wire and sheet he was also door to door repairer of kitchen dishes it was a nomadic profession

Carpenter Carpenter was making all works on building of wood it was wooden beam, wooden rafters and many other things it was really hard work to manage it all

Potter Potter was making ceramic pots from clay after shaping up the pot, it was given to an oven, where it acquired the fixity and than it could be used sometimes they painted on it every potter had his own workroom with special tools

IT technology paying organization meetings and others a lot of things are made with help of the Internet, technology paying organization meetings and others programmers are setting up the machines that are used in the majority of today´s professions people are really interested in it this job is necessary for this kind of world

Engeneering and architecture Engineering- we know many types of engeneering the demand of engineering professions is very high in Slovakia because we are the biggest car producer per capita in the world ( Volkswagen, Kia, Peugeot – Citroen) not many people are interested in it. Architecture – is the process and production of planning, designing and constucting buildings and other many people who are keen on many opportunities to get a good job architect designer statique

Media, blogging and youtubering blogging – type of hobby/job where people share their lifestyle, opininon and things what they do or what they like it can be about: fashion music baking/ cooking lifestyle a lot of opportunities to recognise and try new things youtubering – the same as blogging, but via videos people sharing videos about themselves their opininons Traveling Trying crazy things they can earn a lot of money

Future ??? science and technology is moving steadily forward each occupation will use new technologies and knowledge Which jobs will be successful in the future? We can´t be sure right now but, who knows, maybe in the future our working places will be replaced by ROBOTS
