Program Day 01 Arrival at Lisbon Airport. Transfer from Lisbon Airport to a Hotel in Lisbon. Participants will have dinner on their own. Accommodation at a Lisbon Hotel. Day 02 After breakfast, we will depart for a half-day guided tour of Lisbon: starting with a panoramic of the main streets and squares of the city: Marquis de Pombal Square, Avenida da Liberdade and the Rossio square. We will continue to one of the oldest quarters of the city: Alfama (walking tour, passing to Lisbon Cathedral). Our next stop will be at Sala Ogival, for a brief presentation of Portuguese wines, including wine tasting. We will proceed to Belém, stopping by the Belem Tower and the Discovery Monument for photos. Still within Belém quarter we will visit the Jeronimos Monastery. Free time for lunch. After lunch we will depart for an unforgettable afternoon, discovering Sintra and its Mountains with its luxuriant vegetation framing our tour. Visit + wine tasting at Adega de Colares. We will visit one of the charming Palaces of Sintra (entrance fee not included in the price, please check the supplements). In the evening, transfer to a restaurant in Lisbon. Day 4 On the way from Lisbon to Porto, we will visit Quinta do Encontro (at Anadia) – visit + wine tasting + lunch. Located in a serene landscape dominated by vines and Serra do Caramulo and Buçaco, the design winery, inspired in the shapes of oak barrels, allows the visitor to directly contact with the various production phases. Indulge while eating in our restaurant, with regionally modern cuisine, in a minimalist and inspiring ambiance, surrounded by vines. After lunch we will continue to Porto. After the ckeck-in at Porto hotel participants will have dinner on their own. Accommodation at Porto. Day 5 After your breakfast discover, and taste, the beauty of Porto, a city designated World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO! This tour gives you an in depth introduction of the city and its diversity, allowing you to experience the best of Porto! This driving tour begins with a breathtaking drive along the ocean, passing the Cheese Castle (Castelo de Queijo), the trendy Foz district, the Arrábida Bridge (Ponte da Arrábida)arriving to the centre where you will visit the Historic Centre, Sé Cathedral, Bolhão Market, Santa Catarina shopping street, Clérigos Church and Tower, Lello Bookshop, São Bento Train Station, Stock Exchange Palace and Ribeira Square. There will be a stop for lunch, at Chez Lapin Restaurant, and some extra time for shopping. Day 6 Visit of Vila Nova de Gaia Wine Cellars Burmester - Enjoying a privileged location near the exit of the lower deck of the D. Luiz bridge in the riverside of ​​Vila Nova de Gaia, Burmester proposes a tour of their original and renewed Cellars. In 1730, Henry Burmester and John Nash founded Burmester & Nash in London, a cereal trading company. Later in 1750, they moved to Vila Nova de Gaia and began shipping Port wine to the British Isles and the rest of Europe. Lunch at the restaurant and cellar Presuntaria Transmontana (Marginal Gaia). After lunch we will visit the Espaço Porto Cruz - Multimedia Centre, with Cooking Show (Marginal Gaia) - The Porto Cruz Space is a project to celebrate the culture of port wine by associating modernity to tradition. It is a place for information, exhibition and leisure that offers new experiences around the port wine, combining it with artistic creations in fields as diverse as fashion, art and gastronomy. Dinner on your own and accommodation at Porto. Day 7 Check-out and departure to a Douro cruise, with lunch on board. Around 15h00 arrival at Régua quay. Bus transfer to Abadia Velha/Ucanha, where we will visit the Murganheira wine cellars. After the visit we will also taste their sparkling wines. We will continue to Lamego, with the visit to the historic centre of this village (Cathedral and Nossa Senhora dos Remédios Church). Around 19h00 check-in at 4 * Douro River Hotel. Extension to Salamanca | 2 nights/3 days Program 10h00 Departure by bus from Régua to Salamanca (310 km | around 3 hours ride). Around 13h00 arrival at Hotel Palacio de San Esteban, 5*. Check-in and rest of the day free at leisure – the hotel is placed in the historical center of Salamanca, and the participants can enjoy some free time discovering the village until dinner time.
