What are the main arguments made by the paper? What kinds of evidence do the writers offer to support the main arguments? How according to the authors do differences in institutions explain differences in income? (Briefly) Why do different countries choose different institutions. Draw on the different theories provided by the authors to formulate an answer. Was the conclusion of the paper relevant to the research question? Did the conclusion of the paper follow logically from the methods used? The essay should reference at least 2 refereed academic journal articles and should at a minimum provide descriptions (descriptive statistics) and charts of the data used.
