CTU History Founded by Military Officers in 1965 Started in Manitou Springs, CO Campuses in Aurora and Colorado Springs Online Campus in Schaumburg, Ill. Our history is military based.

CTU Wounded Warrior Scholarship Program TO DATE $7.5M IN CTU HAS AWARDED By offering the Wounded Warrior Scholarship, CTU strives to give back to those whose lives have been altered due to injury while in service. In 2008, CTU created the Wounded Warrior Scholarship in collaboration with the Yellow Ribbon Fund. Each year, CTU awards 50 scholarships to wounded service members, spouses of wounded service members and, new in 2016,2017 respectively - caregivers or non-medical assistants and dependents. The scholarships include the tuition, books, and a laptop each recipient needs to pursue their degree. Since 2008, CTU has awarded 450 scholarships worth $7.5 million.
