Multidisciplinary Databases

Academic Search Premier (EBSCO): When using EBSCO you will be asked to select the database you want to search in. The default option is Academic Search Premier. When you want to use other EBSCO databases simply unselect Academic Search Premier and select the database or databases of your choice. contains thousands of peer-reviewed, scholarly journals; access to the full-text of over 3,000 journals and abstracts to over 8,000 journals in a variety of subjects

ProQuest: When using ProQuest you are also searching in ProQuest Criminal Justice provides access to magazines, trade publications, and over 4,000 journals in 150 academic disciplines

JSTOR: an interdisciplinary resource that offers articles, trade publications, and primary source documents dating from the 1800s to the present

Academic OneFile: contains access to over 13,000 journals around 6,000 are linked to the full text; subject areas include: the physical sciences, the arts, technology, medicine, and the social sciences

General OneFile: contains journal and magazine articles, newspaper indexes, National Public Radio programming, and video clips from news programs

Business Source Elite (EBSCO): Using the search limiters under general search boxes you can enter the ticker symbol, NAICS code, and several other company identifiers contains over 500 peer-reviewed journals in management and marketing dating from 1985 and company profiles

MLA International Bibliography: produced by the Modern Language Association, this database contains bibliographies for journal articles, dissertations, and books dating from the 1920’s

Social Science Databases

PsycARTICLES (EBSCO): provides coverage from 1984 to the present of nearly 80 peer-reviewed scholarly and scientific journals; including articles, book reviews, and letters to the editor

PsycINFO (EBSCO): In addition to the limiters available in PsycARTICLES, PsycINFO offers abstracts to many more journal articles resource for abstracts of journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertation dating back to 1660

Biological Abstracts (EBSCO): a collection of bibliographic references covering life science and biomedical research literature published from 1969 to the present
