Volunteers and Visitors Volunteers perform essential functions for our school program. All volunteers must submit to a criminal background check and display a visitor’s badge while on campus.

Communication Communication among teachers students is very important. Our goal is to have regular and ongoing communication with you. To help us with this goal, we will be using an app called REMIND (https://www.remind.com). You will be able to receive messages from our team with or without the app. We are going to pass forms about REMIND If you have access to the Internet, please check the school website regularly at http://iveelem.apluscharterschools.org as it is your best source of information regarding classroom and school activities and functions.

Breakfast & Lunch Inspired Vision Elementary School participates in the National School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program and offers students nutritionally balanced meals daily. All meals are provided to students free of charge regardless of economic status. We encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity to eat a healthy breakfast and lunch every school day. Studies show that students who eat breakfast on a daily basis increase their ability to learn and have higher test scores.

Birthdays We happily celebrate and acknowledge birthdays. If you choose to provide a snack, please notify the teacher beforehand so she can have it approved.

Lexia, IXL, I Station, and Reflex Math We will be using these programs this year to help your student be the best student that he or she can be. Your log in information will be sent to you shortly. We strongly encourage you to have your student use these programs both at home and at school. Both experience and research tells us that a child’s education succeeds best when there is good communication and a strong partnership between home and school.

AR (Accelerated Reading Program) Our goal is to help your child to learn and love to read. With that goal in mind, your child will have the opportunity to participate in the Accelerated Reading Program. We encourage you to have your child read at home daily-- not only the AR books but also other reading resources.
