Safety and Security All students are accounted for at all times via roll calls at all Close Up-led activities from breakfast through nightly room check 7:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m., upon arrival through departure. Program Instructors have 140+ hours of training, certified in CPR/First Aid, undergone criminal background checks, with students at all times when exploring sites. Night monitors check all students in at 10pm and remain on all hotel floors throughout the night, departing at breakfast. Close Up participants and staff wear their Close Up name tags at all times. The Close Up emergency number is listed on the back of each nametag and on all student and teacher daily schedules. Close Up partners with several leading health care providers, including Georgetown University Children’s Medical Center (GUCMC), to ensure that students have access to quality health care should they need medical attention while on program.

Price and What’s Included Total student price is 20160 RMB (including flights) Academic materials and instruction Hotel accommodations Three meals per day starting with dinner on Sunday, ending with conclusion of program. All in-town transportation 24-hour supervision including night monitors All admission fees Tips/Gratuities Secondary medical coverage and access to Georgetown University Medical Center Close Up souvenir backpack, water bottle, and group photo

Deadlines Total student price is 20160 RMB * (The US cost is in dollars and was converted to RMB) Deposit: 10,160 RMB First come, first serve Final Payment of 10,000 RMB Due 1 September 2017 Cancellations after 20 September, 2017 result in a 100% cancellation penalty. You will need to get your participant ID and password from Mr. Hannon to enroll at CloseUp.org. Close Up is a 501(c)(3) organization…donations can be tax- deductible!
