The Student Classlink Dashboard As default web page

Classlink is the district Single Sign-On (SSO) that will be used by students and staff to access digital curriculum/resource sites that are SSO capable. This eliminates the need for a user to remember multiple usernames and passwords. Beginning this school year, each student will login to school computers with their mypolkschools account and their Classlink Dashboard will be the default web page no matter what browser is being used. Example of student credentials: Username: pennyc2@mypolkschools.net Password: Basket24 The following slides will show what a student will encounter and how to use their Classlink Dashboard. A slide has also been provided that lists the curriculum resources students will access using their Classlink Dashboard.

If the browser is IE, this credential box will pop up and they must type in their username and password again to confirm their identity. Example: Username: pennyc2@mypolkschools.net Password: Basket24

If the browser is Edge, this credential box will pop up and they must type in their username and password again to confirm their identity. Example: Username: pennyc2@mypolkschools.net Password: Basket24

If the browser is Chrome, this credential box will pop up and they must type in their username and password again to confirm their identity. Example: Username: pennyc2@mypolkschools.net Password: Basket24

If the browser is Firefox, this credential box will pop up and they must type in their username and password again to confirm their identity. Example: Username: pennyc2@mypolkschools.net Password: Basket24

If this is the first time the student has logged into their Classlink Dashboard, they will be required to enter their password two times in this pop up.

The student is now logged into their Classlink Dashboard and can click on the Icon where they need to go.

Each student must follow these steps to logout in order for the next student to be able to login. Depending on the App, the student will click on ‘X’, ‘Log Out’ or ‘Sign Out’ to close it. Then the student will click on the down arrow by the person in the top right corner.

Now click the ‘Sign Out’ button.

No matter which browser is used, the student must close the browser by clicking the ‘X’. Now the student must log out of the computer.
