ELA – Mrs. Fulton Reading -- We will finish up Unit 5 by planning and writing a published product on Monday and Tuesday. Please encourage your child to take notes and work hard on this assignment. We are at the point in the year where they need to be completing this type of assignment in 2 days, so this is all the time they will be allowed. Language Arts -- We will continue to review the skills we have learned so far this year, like – capitalization, complete sentences, compound and complex sentences, common and proper nouns, verb tenses, possessives, contractions, and subject verb agreement. Ask your child to identify the words they use when they are talking to you as nouns, verbs, or adjectives. This is a basic skill many of them still have not mastered.
