How Do I Use a Wiki? Basic Instructions

Why use a Wiki? You can have one place to write, save images, website links, captured text and information from the web, videos, and other resources for your project. Each person on the team can work on the same wiki once the main account holder (Researcher) gives permissions to his/her team mates Your wiki can be turned into a website and used to teach other students! Look at this video: http://www.commoncraft.com/video/wikis

1. Click on Wikispaces on Sidebar

2. Create an Account

3. Look for “Welcome Box” and Click “Next”

4. Find “Get Help” box and Click “Next”

5. Click “Edit”…The page now looks like a Word doc!

6.Start Typing!....Then click “Next”!

7. After typing, click ‘Save’!

You’ve Got It! Wikis are very easy to use and very useful for group work. If you get stuck, review the “Help” menu on the Wikispaces site. If you have additional questions and need some coaching email Ms. Cooke at ddheal@gmail.com
