Group Assignment - Suggested Topics University of the Future (UotF) or Faculty of the Future (FotF) GROUP ASSIGNMENT 1 (CONCEPTUAL PAPER). Group Assignment 1 & 2 are inter-related: Week 1 - Milestone 1: Form Group (2 students per group) Week 4 - Milestone 2 : Business Case Summary Submission & Approval Week 6 - Milestone 3 : 1st Draft Business Case Paper Submission – Intro & Background, Problem Statement, Methodology, Literature Review, Establish and Describe UotF or FotF Initial Framework/ Conceptual Model (use BMC, EM & VPD tools), Conduct Survey/Interview (Students e.g. local/international, UG/PG, working adult; lecturers; employers), Analysis & Findings, Establish “Final” UotF or FotF Model, Summary, Conclusion & Future Work Week 8 - Milestone 4 : Final Business Case paper due. Submit as 1st paper to academic journals. Format of paper must follow standard template of chosen Academic Journal. GROUP ASSIGNMENT 2 (CASE STUDY): Week 4 – Milestone 1a: Choose a leading university in your country Week 5 – 9: Conduct Strategic Management Processes (Figure 1-2, Wheelen Chapter 1) for your Chosen University.
