Types of engineering degrees There are many different types of engineering majors that cover many different scientific areas. Choosing a major Purpose of the degree Why are you getting it? Look at the degree as much of an investment as possible How will you use the degree? Job prospects
Writing for your future If you cant write you cant succeed Learn to write so that anybody can understand it Take classes Get a book on writing.

Public Speaking Many times you will be in a position to support or defend your point of view If you cannot speak in public with confidence you will increase the difficulty of advancement The better you are the more opportunities you will have to speak.

Internships Getting an internship before working full time is a great way to see if you like the job first. Its beneficial to do it if possible while you are working full time too. This also allows you to determine if you need to prepare for a career change
