Micro Finance: Macro Finance: Micro vs. Macro Small loans, usually given in 3rd world countries, to entrepreneurs to help them get their business off the ground. Macro Finance: Used for significant loan sums. Lender incurs some risk if borrower defaults on loan. Used for multi million/billion dollar projects.
