Students who are questioning their gender and/or sexuality can also seek support at the group and can meet some other students who may be feeling the same.

PROJECT X 2016 (Open to all year 8’s) Yet another year has passed and RAF Waddington is again, calling for ingenious designs to be flung down our zip wire to deliver the “Eggs” without harming them! So starts the challenge to Lincolnshire Schools with Project X 2017! What is Project X? It is all about engineering and design innovation and this year’s challenge is open to Year 8 students. You will be required to deliver ‘vital survival equipment’ to two aircrew that have ejected from their aircraft and landed in enemy territory. For this challenge, the teams must plan, design and build an aircraft with a release system to allow the vital survival equipment to be delivered, without breaking, to each of the downed pilots. Remember- try not to injure the pilots when delivering the supplies!! Can you design a plane with a release mechanism that will deliver supplies safely and in one piece? If so bring along your designs on A4 paper to lab 4 Tuesday and Thursdays 2pm Any questions ask Mrs Gibbs or Mr Bollan 2015 champions
