The attending also functions as the Medical Director and so does not have clinic during one day out of the week (which can be used to study or spend time with other providers) The attending sees 10-12 patients daily (mostly women) on average giving you more time to talk with the patients and develop report with them as well as discuss topics with the doctor You take call about every 4-5th day with your preceptor You stay with the preceptor at her house (basically have free reign of the upstairs) Can use kitchen at preceptor’s home freely but all meals can be provided for free at the hospital if desired Currently undergoing a hospital expansion project to be able to support more patients and expand care Logistics
