Islamic Rule: It means what ALLAH legislates for Muslims as per the Holy Qur’an, and the practices, (Sunnah) of honourable Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). Ref. GSO 2055-2-2016, GAC FAD 12 Keeping it simple to understand, its safe for use or consumption. Religiously : allowed by sharia’h , permitted Sharia’h: Islamic law/Rules, Sunnah & Hadiths of Prophet Non- Halal: Not allowed by sharia , Not permitted . Not safe for use or consumption for the believers.

Is HALAL only for Muslims? HALAL is for all human beings يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُوا مِمَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. What is HALAL Accreditation? Halal accreditation is a formal declaration by an accreditation body which testifies that a particular Halal Certifying Body is competent to certify Halalness of specific products or services. 3.1 accreditation third-party attestation related to a conformity assessment body conveying formal demonstration of its competence to carry out specific conformity assessment tasks (ISO/IEC 17011) A certificate from a third party that formally proves that a qualified evaluation body is competent to perform specific matching evaluation tasks.
