Roswell Park Cancer Institute Located in Buffalo, New York 27 acre main campus and five affiliated sites Independent, free standing cancer institute since 1898 NCI designated comprehensive cancer center since 1974 133 hospital beds 3,282 employees 309 faculty members and over 100 senior scientists 20 scientific shared resources

Roswell Park Cancer Institute 5,284 hospital admissions, 224,000 outpatient visits, 31,000 patients under active care/year Cancer Registry Cases In 2015: 4,067 ( analytic class 00-22) 480 (non-analytic class 32: 1st course treatment elsewhere, subsequent treatment at RPCI) 2,160 (non-analytic class 30-43, including consults, e.g., path) Service/Referral Areas Primary catchment area: 8 county regions of Western New York, 1.5 M (86%) of RPCI patients 48 states 13 foreign countries

Current RPCI TIES Statistics Loaded path reports Time span: 1995 to 09/2016 Patients: 90,203 Reports: 195,174 38,372 reports, 2014-9/2016, recently loaded, being QCed Live HL7 feed every six months beyond 9/2016 Registered users: 26

IT Tasks Completed since last F2F Loaded surgical pathology reports from 1/1/2014 to 9/15/2016 Upgraded to TIES v 5.6.2 Performed validation of 2002 to 2016 cases uploaded into TIES against Tamtron Missing reports were re-exported to be included in TIES IT support, development, and maintenance 

Next IT Tasks Run RPCI PHI checker scripts on newly loaded reports (1/1/2014 and 9/15/2016) QC 2014 - 9/2016 pathology reports Review and revise errors in reports, e.g., MRNs format and missing names Website update Support evaluation and validation of new De-ID tool Implement LDAP with TIES Support upcoming development for CR data import into TIES

Quality Control User Audit – 6 months intervals Query Audit – annually July 2016 audit – no issues to report Query Audit – annually Dec 2015 audit – no issues to report
