WHAT IS STRESS? It is a condition of feeling exhausted when a person perceives that the demands on his mental, physical and financial capabilities exceeds the personal and the social resources that he is able to mobilize.

EUSTRESSIS Motivates, focuses energy and energizes us. Is short term. Is perceived to be within our coping abilities. Feels exciting. Improves performance.
DISTRESS Causes anxiety or concern. Can be short or long term. Is perceived to be outside our coping ability. Feels unpleasant. Decreases performance.
