The mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

To make disciples of Jesus Christ among all people, communicating the everlasting gospel in the context of the Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14:6-12. Jesus when on earth and after His resurrection set up the core business of the church as evangelism (Matt 24:14; 28:19, 20). God has specially called the Seventh-day Adventist Church, individually, to proclaim His love message to the world.

Who are those to work?

Calls for the collaborative involvement of every member—child, youth, and adult—male and female. Ellen White rightly remarks, “The work of God in this earth can never be finished until the men and women comprising our church membership rally to the work, and unite their efforts with those of ministers and church officers.” GW, 352.

What is TMI? It is a strategy to involve each church member/ worker/entities to be intentionally, with their talents/professions, finding a way to share the everlasting message in their community, and lead a soul to Christ

What TMI is not about? “is not just about preaching . It’s about what everyone can do. It’s all of us working together to make something happen.” Total departmental involvement (TDI)

What Is TMI and Pentecost 2018? It is an evangelistic thrust initiative by WAD in collaboration with the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church to organize and effectively hold 25,000 evangelistic meetings with small groups and public campaigns within her territory of 22 countries.

Objective This is to lead 600,000 souls to Christ through water baptism. It encompasses every church member/worker, every church, District/church entity, every Field/Union within the Division (WAD) to do something under the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pentecost 2018 is reiterating the experience of the disciples when the Holy Spirit came upon them and they received power, and 3,000 souls accepted Christ through water baptism in a day (Acts 1:8; 2:41). Pentecost 2018 uses all possible but acceptable means through individual members, ministries and entities of the church as a wheel to reach its objective of spreading the gospel.

The Way Forward? However every Organized and Company Church/Field within WAD is organizing and conducting ONE evangelistic campaign before or during Pentecost 2018

HOW? Through revivals/temple crusades in the churches, houses to house visitation, welfare services, community outreach, music ministration, small groups, BCS, health and departmental programs.
