The LAHP will improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Leeds by engaging the educational and research capabilities of all three universities in Leeds with the health and care system in order to speed up the adoption of research and innovation, creating inward investment, and raising the national and international profile and reputation of the city and its statutory partners. In short, the LAHP will: Address health inequalities to ensure that people who are the poorest improve their health the fastest Improve health outcomes and patient experience Attract investment and drive economic growth Innovate and spread knowledge Attract and retain a highly skilled workforce We believe we are best placed to do this when we work together.
