Reception Learning Letter Learning for week beginning 13th March 2017 Friday 17th March 2017 Reception Learning Letter This week we have been learning… This week we have planted our beans in our jam jars. We had a go at writing instructions on how to plant a seed. We even started our sentences using ‘first’ and ‘next’. In maths we have been learning how to count on and count back using a number line to find the answers to simple addition and subtraction sums. We have been exploring repeating patterns this week in maths. We discussed that we can make patterns with objects, colours and much more! Practise practise practise! Keep revisiting all of your phonic sounds and tricky words. Keep practising writing your name using correct letter formation. Handwriting letter formation – h, b, k, m, n, r Learning for week beginning 13th March 2017 Phonics – Phase 3 Learn and practise letters/sounds ai ee long oo short oo Read and write sentences.
