PGA SECTIONS 41 geographical PGA Sections administer promotion of grassroots activities nationwide, in conjunction with PGA Professionals and the PGA of America national office 5

CHAMPIONSHIPS America’s elite golfers against the best of Europe over three days of competition, played every other year. Highest concentration of upscale viewers on broadcast sports TV. Only all-professional major in championship golf – Quail Hollow Club near Charlotte, NC will host the PGA Championship for the first time in 2017. Oldest and most prestigious major championship in senior golf. Past champions include Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson. One of five majors on the ladies circuit held in collaboration with the LPGA. 2016 event featured 100 of the top 100 LPGA players. 6
