Sign and return field trip permission slip in Tuesday folder. No Vocabulary Test Objectives: Reading: Students will study non-fiction text again this week. They will continue reading Animal Homes. Assessment Friday Language: Students will study subjects and predicates this week. Assessment Friday Writing: The focus will continue to be on research. Spelling: Blends Math: Second grade will learn to measure objects using standard units of measurement. Practice measuring items around the house in inches, feet, and yards. Science: Second graders will study food chains again this week. Assessment – Friday.
