Multivendor Access Network Management & Monitoring Aruba AirWave Multivendor Access Network Management & Monitoring

Managing a Mobile-First Networks DIGITAL WORKPLACE Growing workforce using Wi-Fi as primary connectivity & running business critical apps on their mobile devices. Managing a Mobile-First Networks

Today bad connectivity and slower resolution user device? bad coverage? authentication? network services? infrastructure? RF capacity? Wi-Fi?!! Today bad connectivity and slower resolution have a higher business cost

IT requires management tools designed for mobile-first networks This is a sample Three Pictures with Captions slide ideal for including three pictures with brief, bulleted text. To Replace the Pictures on this Sample Slide (this applies to all slides in this template that contain replaceable pictures) Select the sample picture and press Delete. Click the icon inside the shape to open the Insert Picture dialog box. Navigate to the location where the picture is stored, select desired picture and click on the Insert button to fit the image proportionally within the shape. Note: Do not right-click the image to change the picture inside the picture placeholder. This will change the frame size of the picture placeholder. Instead, follow the steps outlined above. Tip: use the Crop tool to reposition a picture within a placeholder. From the Picture Tools Format tab on the ribbon, click the Crop button. Click and drag the picture within the placeholder to reposition. To scale the picture within the placeholder (while Crop is active), grab a round corner handle and drag to resize. Hold Shift key to constrain picture aspect ratio when resizing. Performance for mobile users Reliability for critical apps Unified wired & wireless

Analyze and troubleshoot faster Visualize performance and coverage with VisualRF™ Network wide mapping: Clients, devices, rouges, non Wi-Fi interferences Context overlays: AppRF, Client Health, UCC, Voice, Channel, Channel Utilization, Speed, Heatmap Location tracking Heatmap history/playback Site planning AirWave VisualRF gives you an accurate view of your entire network without ever leaving your desk. It automatically generates a map of your RF environment and the underlying wired topology, showing you what your network looks like — in real time. VisualRF builds this map using RF measurements gathered from your active wireless access points and controllers, without requiring you to buy a costly, separate location appliance. 9

Take control of wireless security Keep out rogue devices with AirWave RAPIDS™ - automated detection & containment RAPIDS does both wireline and wireless scanning that takes advantage of your existing infrastructure. In addition to rogue detection, RAPIDS captures attack signatures trapped by your controllers If you don’t have APs installed, you can utilize existing laptops with wireless cards for wireless scanning. RAPIDS stands out from other solutions in terms of how efficiently it can correlate scanning results and let you classify threats according to your own unique security policies. Its correlation function aggregates scanning data from multiple sources to provide a more accurate threat assessment and eliminate duplicates A rules-based classification engine lets you focus on the most important threats. You can use its default set of classifications, which are based on more than 10 criteria including SSID, signal strength, encryption, # of discovering APs, network type, OS, manufacturer, detected on the wire, detected wirelessly and IP address. Out-of-the box, devices will fall 8 different categories, including Valid, Neighbor, Suspected Rogue, and Rogue. Alternatively, you can redefine these default classifications to reflect your unique business needs and physical environment. Automated alerts go out via email, syslog, or SNMP (to network management system) based on user-definable triggers RAPIDS also captures historical data for auditing and reporting purposes We provide a number of out-of-the-box reports including a PCI compliance report Scan Wireless + Wired Networks Identify all connected devices Aggregate & Correlate Results Reduce false-positives Classify Threats Define & customize rules Alert & Report Alert Security team Compliance Contain Automated or manual
