9-20-12 Napoleon Invaded Russia with a large army of 600k soldiers. The Russians used the cold winter and a tactic called Scorched Earth to defeat the stronger French. In this policy they burnt all homes and crops so the French could not have supplies. This was the beginning of the end for Napoleon. Why would this policy defeat the French, and how would it weaken Napoleon.
