Anglo-Saxon and Viking homework Autumn Term Anglo-Saxon and Viking homework Below are different activities relating to our topic. Pupils can complete as many tasks as they wish from the sheet. They should have completed at least one every two weeks, when they are brought in to be checked. At least one writing task must be completed each half term. Draw Visit Write Make Draw a portrait of Odin Find a description of Odin, King of the Viking gods and draw/ paint him onto A4 paper Create a time line about the Anglo Saxon and Viking period Research the key events that happened during this period and plot them onto a time line. Draw a comic about Anglo-Saxon life Research the typical day of an Anglo-Saxon and create a comic strip about it. Visit the British Museum Visit and find the Anglo-Saxon/ Viking department. Take photos and annotate ready to share with the class. Visit Chertsey Museum Take photos of your visit. See if you can find the Anglo-Saxon sword! Visit the Coronation Stone Visit the Coronation Stone in Kingston. Take a photo and write a short story about an Anglo-Saxon king. Write a diary entry of an Anglo-Saxon sailor coming to Britain Using your literacy target, write a diary entry about your journey across the sea.
