Document Clearance Some students need to present documentation before being allowed to register. Documents to Admissions: • New International students – passports & visas (RCD) • PGCE students – DBS check (RCD_D) • Medical students – DBS check (RCD_D) Documents to PBS Compliance: • International students returning from interruption – visas (RCD, RCD_R)

Online Registration Dates: Autumn 2017 Online registration opens: Wednesday 23rd August 2017 - Postgraduate & PGCE Wednesday 6th September 2017 – Undergraduate Log in using Student Record System (SRS): https://srs.exeter.ac.uk/urd/sits.urd/run/SIW_LGN Online registration closes: Friday 6th October 2017 (midnight) – all students Online registration dates through the year will be listed online: www.exeter.ac.uk/students/administration/registration

After registration closes Monday 9th October 2017: students with RPR status sent message saying they have missed online registration Tuesday 10th October 2017: student status amended to “Not Registered” (RNR); IT access withdrawn within an hour as a result of this change Spreadsheets of non-registered students circulated - any ‘No shows’ (RCD*, RNR) investigated by Colleges, Admissions and Student Records

Late Registration The late registration process is followed for any students given clearance to register late Student: The e-mail received when they have missed online registration tells them that they must contact their college if they wish to register College: If permitting student to enter late registration, college log a SID call on student’s behalf

Late Registration SID: Change student enrolment status to RPR (enables online registration) Check student record to determine whether to charge late registration fee Send relevant e-mail to student to tell them how to access online registration and if late registration fee will be charged Late registration opens: Tuesday 10th October 2017 Late registration closes: Friday 25th October 2017 (midnight)

Your part to play in online registration Help students to complete the steps needed prior to registration Encourage students to complete online registration Tell them to keep going until they reach 100% complete When you aren’t sure what to do… Don’t panic! Some queries need to go to specialist teams Tell the student to log a SID enquiry by: Reporting the error in online registration, or Via the ‘SID’ tile in iExeter, or visit / call / e-mail SID
