Space Robot Space-based robotic technology at NASA falls within three specific mission areas: exploration robotics, science payload maintenance, and on-orbit servicing.

Cylindrical Robot It used for assembly operations, handling at machine tools, spot welding, and handling at diecasting machines.

Entertainment Robots These are robots used for entertainment. This is a very broad category. It starts with a toy robots such as robosapien or the running alarm clock and ends with real heavyweights such as articulated robot arms used as motion simulators.

Industrial Robot Industrial robots are robots used in an industrial manufacturing environment. Usually these are articulated arms specifically developed for such applications as welding, material handling, painting and others.

Conclusion Robots are helping society right now by giving more time for people to have breaks, longer time spending with families and robot do things faster than people does. Which that mean they can produce twice then what the amount a person can do.
