THE APPLICATION OF FOLIAR FERTILIZER IN POTATO Ali Hulail Noaema, Barbara Sawicka   Department of Technology of Plant Production and Commodity , University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Akademicka 15, 20-950 Lublin, Poland INTRODUCTION Foliar fertilization is the most effective way to deliver the plant micronutrients and trace elements. This procedure allows for correction of the poor condition of plant nutrition, supplementation components in the growing season. The foliar fertilization of micronutrients is important because that is a procedure running almost immediately, allowing you to achieve high efficiency of fertilization, while applying a small amount component. The use of fertilizers in the form of an aqueous solution ensures their uniform, horizontal distribution, delivery in a timely manner. Some potato varieties with high yield potential, was suffered periodic shortages of micronutrients, even with a high content of these nutrients in the soil. Hence, the aim of the research was to determine the effect of foliar fertilizers with the content of macro- and micronutrients used in the form of chelated on the productivity of several cultivars of potato in the conditions of ׁ south-eastern Polish. MATERIAL AND METHODS The field experiment was conducted in the years 2014-2015 in ZDOO Uhnin (province Lublin). They conducted them using randomized blocks, in a subsidiary, split-plot, with 3 replications. The experimental design included: A) four levels of foliar fertilization, B) four cultivars. In the experiment, they applied to the soil solid NPK fertilization. Tillage was carried out in accordance with good agricultural practice. Chemical plant protection in the fight: weeds, Colorado potato beetle and late blight, as well as the dose, timing of application and the choice of products were in line with the recommendations of the IOR-PIB. Potato harvest was conducted in physiological maturity. Were determined total yield and commercial yield. The test results were calculated statistically by analysis of variance and descriptive statistics. RESULTS Figure 1. The yield of tubers and ctrade yield of the tested cultivars of potato Figure 2. Changes in the yield of tubers and trade yield of potato varieties studied under the influence of fertilization CONCLUSIONS The highest yield-forming effect was achieved in the object of fertilization, connected to the first spraying against potato late blight and additional fertilization, but not later than before flowering. In this facility we used the following fertilizers: Potato Micro Forte, Suplofol Mono Mn and magnesium sulfate, the volume of tank 400 dm.ha-1. Very early variety Lord best reacted to fertilization foliar fertilizers.
