To be a participant you must be: If you participate, you will: Temporal Variability of Daily Ambulatory Activity as a Non-Invasive Biomarker for Parkinson’s Disease IRB # 057-16-EP BIOMECHANICS RESEARCH BULDING, DEPARTMENT OF BIOMECHANICS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We need young and older adults to participate in a study monitoring daily activity. This study may lead to an insights into how daily activity is affected by aging and Parkinson’s disease. To be a participant you must be: Adult between the age of 19-35 years or above 50 years Living independently at home With no known problems affecting the brain, the heart or the legs If you participate, you will: Answer questionnaires about your health and perform basic tasks such as standing and walking Wear an activity monitor on your wrist for 1 week during your normal activities Be asked to repeat this procedure after 6 months and 1 year Study’s wrist activity monitor Actigraph GT9X actigraphcorp.com If interested, please contact Dr. Vivien Marmelat or Nick Reynolds at 402-554-4194 or nrreynolds@unomaha.edu
