Maneuver Center of Excellence & Fort Benning Welcome Purpose Orientation to Itinerary Orientation to VIP Packet Historically the intellectual center of the Maneuver Force

Maneuver Center of Excellence Mission The Maneuver Center of Excellence provides trained, agile, adaptive Soldiers and leaders ready to operate across the range of military operations; develops doctrine and capabilities for the Maneuver Force and the individual Soldier, and provides world-class quality of life for our Soldiers, Civilians, and Army Families to ensure our Army’s Maneuver Forces are fully prepared to “Win in a Complex World.” This is MG Miller’s Mission statement: Founded on a culture of excellence that selects, educates, trains, certifies, and resources instructors and courses to produce Soldiers and Leaders who have mastered maneuver fundamentals and are able to adapt to complex environments. Now = Train & Educate Soldiers & leaders for current fights Future = Understand, describe future maneuver to the operational force Always = take care of Soldiers, civiliand, families, veterans The Maneuver Center of Excellence must operate in 3 time zones simultaneously: “Now, The Future, and Always”

By the Numbers Total Acres: 182,464 GA: 170,510 AL: 11,954 11,140 Military (Perm) 29,256 Family Members 16,954 Military Trainees (weekly average) 10,864 Civilian Workers $3.5 Billion In Construction, Refurbishment, Modernization 4,000 New & Refurbished Housing Units 29,000 Acres In ACUB - 40,000 Is Target Added 6 Million SF Of Facilities To Existing 20 Million SF New 750,000 SF, Martin Army Community Hospital New 860 Room On-Post Lodge 17 Local Partnerships In Support of the Post Mission Partners In Education (PIE) Recognizing Regional Educational Excellence 37 Military PIE Educational Partnerships 8,593 Military Children Attend Public Schools; 2,898 Attend DoD Schools 70% Of Fort Benning Population Resides Off Post The Bi-State Area Hospitals Accept Up To 15% of Fort Benning Patients 57k+ Soldiers, civilians, families assigned to FBGA; 70% live in the surrounding communities 12-16k students per week; target of 68k TNG load for FY15 $3.5 billion dollars of construction from AR School move to include RCI Housing $500 million dollars new MACH open in November 2014; will service Soldiers, Families, Retirees, and 12k VA Beneficiaries who would otherwise have to go to ATL or Montgomery for care. Our “Culture of Excellence” extends to our Community Partners
