Comparative Religions Brighton High School

Comparative Religions Comparative Religions at BHS is a one semester, ½ credit, elective course. It introduces students to the major world religions, which include, but is not limited to Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Students study the origins, beliefs, practices, social organizations, and founders. Students also examine the impact of contemporary issues on world religions and vice versa. Last but not least, students explore Rochester’s religious landscape, visiting religious sites, participating in services, and interacting with adherents from different faith traditions.
