Kimbia Embeded Donation Form Option Interested nonprofits can add a donation form directly to their website. What To Do and When To Do It Now… Education and awareness. Involve your social network in spreading the word to their social networks. (Ambassadors) Reach out to potential contributors to your cause. Send a countdown eblast. Update your homepage promotion. Share each other’s promotional activities -share, like, retweet, pin, comment - to improve visibility. (“Collaboration is the new competitive edge.”) We will share cover images, etc. with you! Refer to the Sarah Milston training from is coming back on Monday, 2/29 to help you.

What To Do and When To Do It Two weeks out… Bring out the creativity. Coordinate communications and keep a conversation going. Invite sharing*. Ask questions that encourage comments. May 2nd “Tomorrow’s the day!” Let’s encourage Twitter activity Monday evening! 5

What To Do and When To Do It May 3rd Share hourly posts on event progress. Promote the event and giving form on your homepage. Share each other’s media stories and giving day milestones on your site and social profiles. Promote contests, prizes and opportunities. 5

What To Do and When To Do It May 3rd We don’t advise staying up all night  You’ll probably want to make an early start of it though! Plan and prepare to be responsive to your donors: Thank as soon as possible. Keep an eye on pre-scheduled emails, etc. so you don’t ask people who already gave! 5

Planning and Preparation “Housekeeping” Last call to make any last minute edits on your organization’s profile. Do this immediately! Make sure you know how to use your Donor Data Report Link. “Matching Funds Available.” To Be Announced: Availability of updated Video link on Nonprofit Tools page and on YouTube. Availability of social media images – cover photos, etc.
